HANNAH
I have been working as a support worker for the past three years, where I’ve gained valuable experience supporting people to live more independently and engage in meaningful activities. I also work as an OSHC (Out of School Hours Care) educator, which has strengthened my skills in communication, patience, and creating safe, supportive environments for individuals of all ages.
What I love most about support work is the opportunity to build genuine relationships and support people to live fulfilling lives. I enjoy getting to know each person I work with – their interests, goals, and what makes them happy. I find it incredibly rewarding to help clients try new activities, build confidence, and achieve things that are meaningful to them.
I love playing soccer, going for hikes, and getting outdoors whenever I can. I also enjoy cooking good food, relaxing with a great movie, and catching up with friends and family. One of my favourite things is simply having a good chat and connecting with others, which is something that naturally carries over into the way I work with clients.
