JAMIE

Hi, I'm Jamie. Exercise Physiologist at EM Therapy and Support. I have a passion for helping people living with a disability achieve equal opportunities, reach their physical goals, and enhance their overall well-being

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

I completed my Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology (Honours) in 2024, where I developed a strong passion for working in the disability sector through various clinical placements. In my final year, I completed my honours project, interviewing multiple assistance dog handlers living with disabilities.

Alongside my studies, I work as a strength and conditioning coach and personal trainer at a functional fitness gym, where I help individuals of all abilities improve their physical performance and overall well-being.

These experiences, combined with my clinical placements, have reinforced my passion for helping people living with a disability achieve equal opportunities, reach their physical goals, and enhance their overall well-being—all through the power of movement and exercise.

WHAT I LOVE ABOUT MY JOB

I love incorporating physical activity into my own daily life, and I am passionate about sharing the incredible benefits of movement and exercise with my clients. I value the opportunity to build meaningful, long-term relationships, working alongside them to achieve their physical goals and helping them thrive in all aspects of life.

A LITTLE ABOUT ME

When I am not working, you will find me training towards my own physical goals. I recently completed a marathon and have sights set on a half-ironman in the future. I love all forms of physical activity, as well as loving to travel and enjoying all kinds of music.

WANT THERAPY FROM JAMIE?

I look forward to sharing the incredible benefits of movement and exercise with you.
