KAHLIA
For the past six years, I have worked as a disability support worker, providing person-centred support to children, young people and adults, with intellectual and physical disabilities. I support people with daily living tasks, community access, emotional support, and building skills that promote independence, confidence, and meaningful participation in everyday life.
I am passionate about creating safe, respectful, and empowering support environments where people feel heard, valued, and supported to achieve their personal goals. I value consistency, kindness, and building genuine connections, and I work closely with individuals and families to ensure support is tailored to what matters most to them.
I bring a high-energy, organised, and positive approach to my work. Outside of support, I enjoy music and dance, going to the gym, pilates and spending time outdoors, as well as quieter moments like coffee by the beach or going to the movies. I am particularly passionate about people discovering their value, purpose and achieving their goals.
