SKYLAR

I have experience working across administrative, hospitality, retail and community support roles. Through my time as a receptionist and administration assistant at a children’s psychology clinic, as well as my role in hospitality and retail, I’ve developed strong communication skills, adaptability, and a genuine ability to connect with and support people. I’m currently studying a Bachelor of Psychology, which has further strengthened my understanding of empathy, duty of care and the importance of person-centred support.

What I love most about support work is the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in someone’s day-to-day life. I enjoy building genuine connections, supporting people towards their goals, and helping them be comfortable, feel included and increase their confidence in their abilities. It’s really a blessing to be a part of someone’s progress and help support and encourage them with any goals they may have.

In my free time, I enjoy going to the gym and spending time outdoors, especially at the beach or going for hikes with friends and family. I love going to the op-shop and finding small trinkets and new clothes. When I want to slow down and recharge, I love drawing and painting, as well as playing the piano. I also have a strong passion for movies, music, and recently have sparked a new interest in film photography.
