EM TRACK AND FIELD - GROUP CLASS
EM Track and Field is a fun and engaging Term 3 Group Program developed for children aged 10-15 years! EM Track and Field aims to capture the excitement of the upcoming 2024 Olympic Games.
EM Track and Field provides children of all abilities with the opportunity to trial a range of athletic events in a safe and supported environment. Participants will have the chance to develop their strength, speed, agility, balance, and motor skills through participating in a range of physical activities, including shot put, javelin (vortex throw), long jump, hurdles, and sprinting.
Run by an experienced Exercise Physiologist and Allied Health Assistant, these sessions aim to be progressive and supportive to individual needs. Baseline measurements will be obtained in session 1, and reviewed across the 9-week program, to assess progress.
EM Track and Field creates an encouraging space for children to participate alongside others in a range of physical activities, whilst building their confidence, social skills, group dynamic skills and resilience.
Group Goals:

When/Where:
Thursdays 4:15-5:15pm at the Noarlunga Recreation Centre (basketball courts) commencing on Thursday August 1, 2024. This program will run for 9 weeks.
