
EM TRACK AND FIELD - GROUP CLASS
EM Track and Field is a fun and engaging group program developed for children aged 7-13 years old. This 10-week group program provides children of all abilities with the opportunity to trial a range of athletic events in a safe and supported environment. Participants will have the chance to develop their strength, speed, agility, balance, and motor skills through participating in a range of physical activities, including shot put, javelin (vortex throw), long jump, hurdles, and sprinting.

Run by an experienced Exercise Physiologist (Caitlin) and Allied Health Assistant (Maxine), these sessions aim to be progressive and supportive to individual needs. EM Track and Field creates an encouraging space for children to participate alongside others in a range of physical activities, whilst building their confidence, skills, and resilience.
 
 Group Goals:

Assess and develop strength, speed, and agility through athletic sporting activities.

Improve participation in regular physical activity that is fun and engaging.

Provide an introduction to various sports.

To promote self-management of health & wellbeing (physical literacy).

To facilitate conversations and connections with others.

To develop active listening skills and build resilience.

To build self-esteem and confidence whilst providing socialisation opportunities.
Where/When:
Thursdays 4-5pm across Term 3 2025.
Noarlunga Recreation Centre - Basketball Court 2.
